   U. Miami L. Rev. > About U. Miami L. Rev.

The University of Miami Law Review is a quarterly journal committed to publishing articles of interest to legal scholars and practitioners. The task of the membership is to ensure that every article is readable and reliable.

Lead articles, essays and book reviews, written by academicians, lawyers, or judges, go through the same extensive editorial review that student works undergo. Every member of the Review shares the critical work of editing and cite-checking each piece until it is ready for publication.

The Editorial Board comprises all candidates and members of the Review. The Review is governed by an Executive Board, which includes the Editor-in-Chief, Executive Editor, Senior Articles Editor, Senior Notes & Comments Editor, Managing Editor, Writing & Research Editor, Projects Editor, and the Articles & Comments Editors. These officers, elected by the membership, perform special editorial and management functions, review articles submitted for publication, and set policy.

Directly responsible for all Review affairs, the Editor-in-Chief is both a chief executive, who manages the operations of the Review, and a chief editor, who approves every article before it goes to press.
