The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit Review
This year, the University of Miami Law Review is proud to announce the introduction of our first annual Eleventh Circuit Review. The Eleventh Circuit Review will contain articles which discuss important developments and trends in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, identify splits between the Eleventh Circuit and other circuit courts of appeal, and examine cases in-depth which are likely to have impact practitioners and litigants throughout the region. The University of Miami Law Review Eleventh Circuit Review is not intended to be a survey that merely highlights the important cases of each year. Rather, our goal is to is to take a holistic view of the business of the Eleventh Circuit and publish scholarly works that retain a connection to the Eleventh Circuit and its distinctive doctrine of law and policy.
Submissions are welcome and encouraged from any and all authors including judges, practitioners, professors, and students. We intend to work with authors who are interested in submitting traditional law review articles related to the Eleventh Circuit. However, non-traditional works, such as essays and shorter articles of other academic disciplines and genres, will also be considered for publication.
Our long-term goal is to publish the Eleventh Circuit Review on an annual basis. However, this year our Eleventh Circuit Review will appear in Issue 4 of Volume 62, which is scheduled for publication in July 2008. Accordingly, we are currently soliciting and welcoming articles for the Eleventh Circuit Review. To be considered for publication, articles must be submitted by January 1, 2008.
